5 Rules – Happiness is a Choice Not a Coincidence
The difference between a good day and a bad day is your attitude. There are some things that happen in your life you can simply do nothing about. But in general, it is up to you what you make out of it. Live and learn. I actually have five rules I live by:
I respect other people. I respect what they do and how they do it. It is their life and they make their own choices. Everyone has a reason why they behave in the way they behave. Even if I would not do things in the same way, I still respect the way other do it.
Smiling helps to feel better. I smile at myself in the mirror. I smile at people that I meet. I smile in my S or Instagram stories. Sometimes I smile at people that I don’t know, first, some of them seem confused, i.e. in the gym. But in particular, girls smile back once I smiled. Because a smile is encouraging, motivation and there is nothing more beautiful than someone smiling back at you. I mean, how could you feel bad then?!
Love has so many faces… It is the love for your family and friends, the man or woman you want to spend your life with, or simply the love for the things that you do – let it be fitness, or cooking, or sleeping. Do the things you love and spend time with the people you love. This is pure happiness.
I could never be happy if there would not be food. Happiness regarding food – in my case – is not eating as much as possible. It is eating consciously and with pleasure, planning what I will eat and how much. Eating the foods that make me feel good. Burgers and fries every day would make me feel miserable and my tummy goes crazy. But a nice burger with fries once in a while makes me happy. Eating according to my goals makes me happy every day.
You need to rest. You need to find the time to calm down. This recovery helps you to start motivated when you had enough rest. Energetic to conquer a new day. Get your things done and know that when you did, you can jump back into your comfy bed and sleep. What a happy feeling.
